FISHERMEN/ Thursdays Fishing Report...Get the lead out!!!

It's always nice when conditions are right.....Today, it would have been perfect had the wind not blown 25!!!!

Morning started out great with good action on mostly keepers, plenty of shorts mixed in. Once the current got going with that wind, it was very tough to say the least. Bait worked best while it lasted and you needed 8 to 10 ounces to hold, even in the shallow water.

My die-hard buck tail guys had a hard time but kept at it all day....they will never change! Doc & several others had two nice fish before it was over then it was a pick here and there.

Weather looks great right through the weekend! Fathers day should be awesome for a change.....Back at it tomorrow.

I picked the wrong 1/2 day boat out of the Highlands yesterday. Should have stayed with my usual 3/4 day captain even though this one did try hard, I got skunked. Very windy and rough seas did not help. See ya capt Ron next time!!!!!

Should have known better! Capt Ron is #1.
