Default Barnegat bay Fluke report

Got a late start today which is usually not a good thing. We started by the BI marker it was shortie city so we moved north in search of some quality. We found the keepers but it was a very slow pick, slow to no drift and alot of snot at times. I finished with 2 one 18 and one 19, my friends each got one keeper 19 and 20. The bite picked up briefly at the top of the tide got a couple blues too but it died when the outgoing started so we ran back to the BI and caught a few of shorts. Always a good time with my friends.

Great to see a Barnegat Bay report. Totally different flavor down there. I’ll be heading down there in a month or so, will be fishing out of Manahawkin.
