Default Anyone catching ling?

So, 2 years ago the ling fishing was very good. Last year...not so good. From all indications, this year has been slow as well. Even when caught, they have been small.

Is this a normal cycle with ling? I love to catch them and bring home a bunch of fillets. I just don’t want to freeze my rear end for 5-6 small fish. Plus pay for a day on the water complete with gas, tolls, food...

Anyone having ling luck out there?

I might try Sunday. I don't think they made it out to the mudhole yet because of the weather.
