Candlestix to Shrewsbur Rocks Tuesday

We hit Atlantic Bait and Tackle as usual to get set up. They are awesome and have hooked me up with everything for my first salt season with my first boat. Pete told us about some Threshers in close but we didnt bring shark gear and he was cool enough to lend us his own shark rod for the day! The fishing wasnt great. There were tons of albies by the stix but they werent chewin. Deployed mojos and trolled to the rocks. Im pretty sure we marked a good amount of striped ones but no takers. Drifted the rocks with eels and 1 15lb blue. Had bottom rigs on as well and caught about 6 short weakfish and 4 keeper sea bass. Not a terrible day. Hopefully the main migration didnt pass us.
