The Pequest Open House is this weekend, June 3 & 4. The event runs from 10am to 4pm both days, and admission and parking are FREE! Highlights include the Sportsmen's Flea Market, a giant mobile fishing tank loaded with fish from the Hackettstown Hatchery, fishing demonstrations, and trout fishing for children ages 8 to 16 (children younger than 8 can try catching trout in the Kiddie Fishing Tank). All fishing equipment will be provided. Additionally, there will be exhibits, wildlife artists and taxidermists exhibiting their work with items for sale. Bring a picnic lunch or sample the food vendors.
