There still catching bass in North Carolina!
Like i posted before an early run of bass in Raritan Bay can mean it is over early. The good news is they are still catching bass in North Carolina and tese bass will migrate North. Dollar to a donut a big run of fresh fish will come the beach. May is when it would go on fire. The best is yet to come.
When the blues are thick try to anchor on a ''few'' large marks not stacked up as they are usually blues. Don't chunk as that will bring the blues in big time.Fish chunks and live but do not throw chunks. Another method is to put the boat on the drift and jig bunker heads and live line a few on the top. Got to try different things when there are blues around. The blues are a good thing. They fight good and if iced properly make good table fare. One way or the other there is alot of action out there. |

Great tips!
I love people who complain about blues. Inshore anglers around the world would KILL for our bluefish! |
