Default Canal Togging

Killed about 2 hours this morning fishing the canal. Arrived at the very end of the incoming tide. Had bites close to the wall right away. Tide went slack and had better bites further out. Once the tide turned it picked up steam pretty fast-where I was using 3 ounces at the end of the incoming, I quickly had to jump up to 6 on the outgoing. They'd bite in spurts getting a bite on every drop for 15-20 minutes then not any action for 10 minutes before they'd bite again. Didn't catch any keepers as they were all in the 9-13.5" range.
