![]() No luck at all these past 2 weekends with bass, went to at least 7 different spots (usually catch stuff at all the places) is anyone else having my kind of luck or am I just not fishing in the right spots/right tackle? Or maybe I'm just loosing my touch lmao.

![]() It was a tough w/e for fishing up north. Water temps dropped 3-4 degrees on SKUNKSVILLE & WAYWAYANDA. It was lock jaw city except the small male bass with aggressive hits in the shallows where the temps were up marginally.
Not much activity @ sunset any with some fly hatches going n, that has me puzzled. Is APRIL the new MARCH? |

![]() The bass bite has been weird so far, I have not had my normal early spring success. Try going out late afternoon when the water is at its warmest.

![]() Yup, I have been following the model with little action so far. The only bites have been on small slow plastic worked in real shallow south facing areas with the water temp slightly higher (+2-3 degrees F).
Seems like more action in CENTRAL & SOUTH JERSEY at this time. Hopefully Thursday will change things as the warmer front pushes out this cold front. Like I said, just like MARCH fishing in a normal year. Could we have a CANADIAN SUMMER (BEST TWO DAM WEEKS OF THE YEAR!) |

![]() I know its tough but you gotta wait until mid-late afternoon to hit places. I'm normally a first on the water angler but not when its 28F out as it was last Saturday. Water temps peak just before and after dark so the later the better.
I've done well numbers wise but still nothing over 17" this year. I've seen large dead bass in 6 places now so maybe this winter was tough on the big ones. Plenty of 10-14" around.

![]() .
Hang in there! This is an unusually cold spring and the fish, especially up in the Northern counties, just aren't doing what they should. We'll get 'em in May! .

![]() They are out there but as many mentioned the fight is not in them yet.
Once hooked its pretty much like reeling in a piece of wood, which to me was a total surprise. On the side note hybrids are doing their thing so you can target them meanwhile. Andre |

![]() Thanks guys, I thought I was going crazy lol. It is true, I have landed a few but when I'm reeling them in, it feels like a stick fish then I realize it's an actual fish hahah. Last week I went catfishing after the rain and even the catfish have no figt in them.
