Default A day with the fish........

Got an invite from Joey dah fish to fish on the obsession for the day. We lstopped at Atlantic bait and tackle to load up for the day. Pete thought we were nuts and so did I. But it beats a day of work. We left to an angry bay and an angrier ocean. Fought our way down south a bit and started rockin and rollin. We also started pickin fish. A slow pick but a pick. I found the yo dolla dolla a nice four pounder. The "action" slowed down and we made a move to "my spot'. This move proved very productive for one of us. Unfortunately it wasn't me. Joey got his first keeper after I set up the drift. He then got superstitious and handed the helm over to me. I reset and Joey got another keeper. I couldn't even get a bite. Back up again and more fish for "dah fish". At least by this time the ocean sat down nicely and we had a beautiful afternoon.

Joey ended up with two keepers and I had one. Mr zagorski kicked my azz with the shorts as well. Later I would tell him that his brother asked me to take it easy on him as joey has a fragile psyche

All in all a very fun day. It was only the two of us, but the verbal jabs went on all day. We also got to dirty up the cleanest cooler in the state

Once again I donated enough lead to the reef that I may get a letter from the EPA

Thanks joe, would do it again anytime! Joey, thanks for the time at the helm and the trust shown in me. I need all the help I can get. I learn something every time out.

I must admit........your very elaborate, detailed, non stop reports about your fishing trips make me very jealous......I worked all day. You must be semi retired? You seem to put a report up here more frequently than some of the charters.......that makes me more jealous......

Yes it was nasty my friend. But we certainly made the best of it. You did a great job at the helm. Best part I only had to explain to you once. Once you understood how and why you were perfect!!!! Thanks for picking up the bait and helping me dirty up Gerry's cooler was a fun day. I will be auctioning off your numbers tonight at 10pm I will be sailing tomorrow so if you want to donate some more lead let me know always great jabs when Fishin with the Shrimp

Steve-i think parker was simly stating your reports make him jealous, who cares how often you report or how long - it takes as much time to skip it than it does to read it.....and no one forces a read.......

I was out today in a 23 ft Wa, i was going to try for stripers and passed, given the angry state of affairs- stayed in officers row then tc to be rewarded with short n cocktails- I turned to my buddy and said - i aint going out to the ocean and i bet shrimp guy is way the hell down south killing em.....we chuckled and i came home looking to see what you pulled out the ol arse.

Nice job - keep the reports coming- I enjoy coming home to see what various guys do, including the partys, wondering what i could have done diff- what else the sea had to offer and if my outing was similar to others-

Have a good weekend - bet u ass i wont be going out sunday......bet my buddy you would. Either way - look forward to seeing what the net day has to offer.
