Poor bastard.. Top jaw split down the middle.. how that happen?? So0 skinny.. I got a 20in Flathead (#2) outta Raritan.. "Another" Invasive species eating the lil ones.. workin on pic but be sure its a flattie.. Where's waldo????

Love spotted Muskies, my favorite of all the strains. Sucks the poor guy probably was caught by someone who ripped trebles out of its face. Glad to see its still eating.

Interesting pics. I always look forward to your updates.

That muskie definitely looks like a victim of bad release technique. Maybe whoever caught it earlier was afraid of the fish's teeth and pulled the lure straight out of his mouth. The resulting infection and necrosis caused further tissue damage, causing the fish's whole snout to split.

Or maybe that muskie is just really into body modification and paid a surgeon to split his nose. From his flamboyant spots, I can tell that muskie is the creative type.
