![]() Finally took the boat out yesterday for a few hours and hooked up with a fat LMB… Was working the rocks the whole time for Smallies but only managed this Fattie Largemouth and 3 other decent RedEye Bass.
RedEye were hitting Tubes dragged along the rock formations. The Lmb hit a live lined herring then hid in the rocks. After repositioning the boat to create a different angle the Pig finally jarred loose from his hiding place. Glad my 8lb test held up. Fish measured 19-3/4 inches and 3.75lbs with the girth to match. ![]() Last edited by Predator; 05-15-2014 at 08:00 AM.. |

Beautiful Bass. I assume Red Eyes refer to Rock Bass. That's the trouble with common names is they vary from region to region. In the evening times around rocky areas, those Rock Bass become aggressive like little Piranha.
