Boating supply website
Can anyone recommend a good site for boating supplies? I need some good life vests and some basic boating supplies. We just bought a 16ft Starcraft to be used primarily in freshwater . Thanks in advance !!

Re: Boating supply website
Several actually. PFD's are Mustang and a few other mfgrs. There are some store brands made my name mfgrs. Don't forget you need a Type IV throwable PFD on 16 footer. And if you hit tidal waters (or boat in NYS) you need 3 distress signals too. Starcraft has a built in gas tank so you need at least one type B I fire extiguisher too.
And don't got cheap on the VHF antenna if you get a VHF. Port Supply /West Marine Overtons Boaters World (internet only) Hamilton Marine and lots of others. Some stuff I would prefer to see it in real life.

Re: Boating supply website
Normally I'd buy boating stuff from local marina/stores. For online shopping I do check various sites (just google it); one good site is www.defender.com.

Bass Pro Shops has a lot of boating related stuff. I just got their Marine catalog and they carry most things you might need for a boat.

A well stocked Walmart carries inexpensive boating products.
