Black fishing Friday
Left the dock late today with capt. Vic and Maui Jim due to the stalling engine on the truck. We didn't even stop for bass. Went out to the rocks only to find a dragger patroling the grounds. We saw this guy last week too so he wants to clean out the area. Moved on to the SH reef for 2 hours and cought 2 keepers. It was a slow but steady pick with mostly shorts (lunch time). Then we went out to deeper water for the rest of the day and caught the rest of our 11 fish on a slow pick with shorts mixed in. I only had two keepers today. Jim had 4 and my dad had 5.
