28' Hydrasport Sportfish
This boat was absolutely untouched by Sandy and rode out the storm in its slip. Do not think otherwise from the low price I am offering this vessel ($29,999). I have owned it since 2005.
The boat is a 1993 Hydrasport 2800SF, with a LOA of 30'1" and a 10'8" beam. It is a large express with a solid fiberglass hull. An aluminum half tower with hardtop and overhead electronics boxes surround the helm area, with access to the cabin on the centerline. Twin 2001 Yamaha 250hp OX66 engines with approximately 550 hours power the vessel, cruising at 24-26 knots depending on load. Yamaha digital tach, flow meters and hydraulic trim tabs provide optimal adjustability. Twin 145 gallon gas tanks, or 290 gallons total, allow for great range. The boat is well-equipped electronically. In the center overhead box is a flushmounted VHF and Furuno 1850DF color sounder and chartplotter. In the starboard overhead box is a flushmounted Furuno 24 mile radar display. A spotlight on the hard top is controlled from the helm. Finally, a back-up Garmin color sounder and chartplotter is mounted slightly to the left of the wheel. A good sized cockpit permits both hard-core fishing or lounging. Twin spreader lights and recessed coming lights illuminate the deck. A five-rod rocket launcher is located on the half tower, with 4 additional rod holders, two angled, down the gunnels. Lee swing-out outriggers with double-rigged 18' poles also are mounted on the hard top. There are a total of three different tackle storage areas containing drawers, two in the cockpit and one larger one in front of the port pedestal seat. A large in-deck fish box spans most of the beam. A circular 40gallon baitwell, sink with saltwater washdown, and door separate the cockpit from the integrated transom, with two large bilge pumps below decks. For lounging days, a rear bench with cushion and fresh water washdown may be utilized. The boat's beam permits a roomy cabin, with forward bench seating and table that convert to a large vberth. The galley with sink, stove, refrigerator, microwave, radio with cassette deck, and storage drawers is to starboard, and a comfortable head with sink, mirrored cabinets and vacuflush freshwater head is to port. A mattress that is approximately the size of a double is located in the aft cabin. Fans, overhead and indirect lighting are located in several areas, both in the aft cabin and forward. The cabin also has a 6 gallon hot water heater, 40 gallon freshwater tank and 30 gallon waste tank with overboard discharge and electric monitoring panels. Finally, the boat has a pressure water system, battery charger and 4 newer batteries. A third bilge pump is contained in the cabin bilge along with shower discharge. Thank you for taking the time to review this ad. I really enjoyed this boat, as it was my first, and I hope someone will be as happy with it as I was. |
