Default Thanks Capt. Bob and crew of the Gambler

Capt. Bob and the crew of the Gambler took a group of 11 wounded warriors out for a beautiful afternoon of fluke fishing. He probably only had about a 1/2 dozen paying fares, but that didn't stop them from going and burning plenty of fuel trying to find the fish. The fishing was a bit slow, but some keepers were caught. But that's not the story here. The story is that these kinds of outings provide an incredible amount of therapeutic benefit for these heroes. They are inpatients at the VA hospital and their therapists try very hard to get them away from the hospital and active. This is rehabilitation for them and fishing is one of the activities that has the best results. They all left with smiles on their faces.

Capt. Bob and crew... you folks did a great thing for some great people today. THANK YOU!

Also thanks to several folks from NJFishing.com for coming out, showing support and helping the vets out. (Tropics, TurfNSurf, Billfish16)
