Default Nice Brown from Merrill

From Behre B&T.....11lb plus brown caught out of Merrill creek!!!!! Fish was tagged back in 2001, this goes to show how long it takes to grow a big fish..

Thumbs up Re: Nice Brown from Merrill

Reminds me of the days of old from Round Valley. That 11lbr. ties my record of 11lbs. out of there. ALWAYS glad to see big fish being caught, thanx for sharing !!

I miss those days too Andy... My biggest was 9lbs... Watched him chase herring to the top like a bluefish after bunker.. I quickly grabbed a spinning rod and hooked a dead herring through the eyes and casted out to him.. A few twitches and he exploded on it!!!

Lightbulb Re: Nice Brown from Merrill

Reading more and more about baitfish schools at Round Valley. Plus the RVTA has stock in half a million shiners if I am correct.
Amazing thing about those big browns is the tail. When they swing that tail it is an epic battle ! Again, thanx for posting.
