Default 5/4/13 New Local Hot Spot

This evening I checked in on a pond near my apartment that I scouted two years ago. Last time I was there I caught several bass, all 3-4 inches long. I've sat on it all this time waiting for the bass to get bigger, and today I cashed in. In about two hours I caught six bass between 8 and 14 inches. Three came on a chartreuse and orange spinnerbait, and three (including the two biggest) came on a senko. Saw a few bass on beds, as well. Even a few of the townies using fist-sized bobbers were catching bass! Lots of fish jumping as well, I think they were carp, but they were pretty small.

Always nice to have another option within reasonable driving distance from my place.

I def agree with that Always need a couple local spots that produce some decent fish. Sometimes you don't have time or just don't wanna drive far for what ever reason. Got a couple I fish regularly and love em'
