![]() Can anyone tell the difference in quality between Seaguar and TrikFish fluorocarbon? I guess my question is why is trikfish $6.00 as compared to Seaguar double the price? Both spools I looked at are a 25 yd spool, same diameter and same # test. I've been using Seaguar mostly for inshore but will be willing to change to a cheaper brand if Trikfish is decent.

![]() In my personal experience, Seaguar is the best flouro out there. I've tried many other brands and nothing works as well. To me it's worth the extra couple dollars. Little tip, buy the 100yd spools, you'll save a little per yard and you know you're going to use it!

![]() If your inshore fishing probably not an issue unless this off brand is very low quality .
The highest strength per diameter is Blackwater & Gamma so many offshore guys build TS's with either of these. Both cost more but not out of line so to speak. |
