Default Some pics of my Hobie..

So i am 99% done with my kayak setup... purchased it in Rebruary... received the custom powder coated transducer rudder bracket last night, installed it and snapped some pictures. My kayak is a bit dirty still from my last trip, but you get the idea..

Installed Items:
  • Richie Flush Mount Compass
  • Humminbird 798ci SI Fishfinder
  • (2) Rear rod extenders
  • (1) Rod holder Ram Mount
  • Transducer rudder mount bracket
  • LED Nightlight system w/ toggle switch

Enjoy!

Dude... nice! I have an i12s that I was on for the first time last night. I can already tell I'm going to be hooked on kayaking.

Anyway. Question about the LEDs. I have been eyeing them for about a month now, but have yet to figure out how I would be able to mount them on the inflatable. is it absolutely necessary to drill them into the plastic, or is there something that I could do to get around that because I obviously wouldn't want to drill into my balloon I call a kayak

Any suggestions you have would be awesome. Oh, and I'm assuming that's a wildcat lighting setup?

Thanks man and nice yak!

The LED lights have a sticky backing which can stick to anything, but to hide the cables, i drilled and ran them threw the hull of the kayak. Thats about the only thing you need to do to hide the cables unless you have another idea. I certainly wouldnt suggest drilling in your balloon lol

It ain't the arrow...it's the Indian.

You might catch a few chippys with those disco lights
