With less than an hour to fish, after a pleasant ride in the country, I found my self in Califon parked at the north end of the KLG.
The fly guys were bailing the freshly stocked brookies, some up to 17 inches but it was catch and release until 5 and it was only 11:30am.
Having no waders I took the light spinner, a white Husky Jerk and 3 Mepps in my pocket.
My biggest concern was keeping the dogs from swimming through the stream but something tells me some of these fish would not care anyway. I only landed one but had lots of follows, bumps and misses, mainly on the Husky Jerk.
