I fished the Beaver Brook in Denville on 9/20 for about two hours. Nothing big, but almost non stop action and according to my log it was my widest variety of fish in one outing this year. Had my waders on and worked about 200 yards of the brook near a few holes that pushed 6' deep. In about two hours, landed 6 bluegills (one was a nice slab), 5 red breast sunnies, a baby crappie, a nice perch, a small LMB, 15" chain pickerel, and 3 8-10" suckers. 1/8 oz gold panther martin did most of the work, but I drifted a couple worms too. The water was nice and cool so I was hoping I might see a trout, but no such luck... Probably any that made it through both the summer were finished off by Irene. Anyway, good times!
