Default week 6 at scarlet oak...SKUNKED

it was bound to happen but i thought it wouldnt be this morning, baromatric pressure dropping, on the water before sunrise on the day before a new moon, all the right conditions for a good day fishing (even tho a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work right?)

anyways i landed a decent sized LMB and 20' feet from shore he breached and spit out my lure, that was the only love i got today other than two county parks guys doing their rounds to get the trash cans stopping by and telling me that 'the park is technically closed, but you can stay for awhile, were sure you know when to get out if you have to'

now that my luck at scarlet stopped maybe ill check another place out, have only been going to scarlet since its been good to me the past 5 weeks and as the old adage goes 'if it aint broke...'

now where to try next for another streak

BTW John, the pressure held steady all morning into the afternoon and didn't really start taking a nosedive until 1 or 2pm. By that time we were catching dinks hand over fist and w're making our way home. Better time to fish would have been the afternoon. It would have been nice to have been on water with bigger fish at that time, but we would have been flirting with disaster since we had to drive home.
