Default Pemberton 4/14 630-9am

Was in the area with a couple hrs to kill before work, couldnt find the Rancocas quick enough so I decided to hit Pemberton on a friends suggestion. Tied on a rooster tail spinner First cast , first fish.. the tiniest LMB I ever caught. Then nothing for a little over the next hr using meal worms and inline spinners. worked my way to the west end of the lake where there was lots of movement on the water caught a bunch of sunnies on the meal worms. Also hooked up with 5 or 6 but only landing 2 trout. All the hits came near the end of my retrieve, but saw lots of flashes. I'll try this place again from a boat real soon.

I guess as the water gets a little warmer it should get better.

Not bad. It is still been tough there. I am going to be hitting some other lakes when I can, but keep us updated, let us know when the fishing turns on. Oh, nice job on the trout. What kind of spinner where you using? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. Might not be freshwater fishing until the end of the week.
