Default Blackfish report 11/25 solo

The plan was to get to work as early as I could on the blackfish since the wind was going to pick up late in the day and the rain was going to move in. Coming out of the inlet first light there was sea carp activity right outside the inlet so I ended up spending an hour and a half with some other boats trying to pick up a striper. Some were caught, although I didn’t catch any. Headed north and stoped short to fish a spot that I don’t fish that often. Wind was light from the south and the pull on the anchor was perfect. I had some fish working there and caught one keeper, but decided not to waste any more than an hour there bc I thought the grass could be greener elsewhere and the day is so short and I already blew an hour and a half on the sea carp in the morning. Headed to the next drop and ended up staying there until the conditions started to go to crap around 2 o’clock. Hook pulled loose and I decided to throw the towel in because I needed to get back to dock in the shark river bathtub before dead low tide. Ended up picking 3 keepers there for a total of 4. The fish were 15 to 20 inches the bite was light. Better success on a slider rig than jigs but caught some on both. Water depth at the first spot was 49 feet and the second spot was 62 feet. The trip back south sucked and was a slow go heading back into the southwest blow. The bite was consistent and steady the whole day.
