Default Islamorda Fishing

I'm heading down to Islamorda in July. I'm looking for a Capt. for Reef & Wreck fishing who actually lets you fish not just reel fish they hook to reel in. Any suggestions would be helpful.

If the July full moon coincides with your trip then I’d book a night trip as the mangrove snapper spawn takes place on the reefs then and the bite can be off the charts.

Check out Bud n Mary's marina. There are plenty of boats that go day and night. Catch em up and have fun.

When in Islamorada you've got to go hand feed the Tarpon at Robbies

Yeah, but watch out for those mini-pterodactyls all around the dock trying to steal your fish.

I was walking down the dock with a fish in one hand a my bucket in the other. One of those little bastids followed me around trying for the fish until it grabbed my whole hand. Scared the living SH*T outta me. My friends nearly doubled over laughing at me.

Do yourself right and look-up Rich Smith Charter +1 (786) 299-4813. Possibly some of the best fishing I have experienced!
