yellow fin jigging
Headed way out with my buddy friday. First spot had birds looking active and picking at the surface so we started trolling. didn't mark anything despite the bird activity so we pushed out even further and found a fleet jigging fish. seems like we missed a better bite first light, but I ended up nabbing one keeper. We had another keeper sized fish hooked up that came unbuttoned and a few other shorter fish, but then it completely seemed to die.
This guy bit maybe 30ft from the boat as i was burning it in as i was basically finished with my jigging retrieve to drop it again... glad i was at least paying enough attention he didn't rip my new setup out of my hands haha
