It's all any of us can talk about. The bite is hot, and the fish are huge compared to years past. Every fish we bring in is over 24", which for this far north is remarkable, and I do mean remarkable. We don't get blues any more, so this is a fantastic welcomed change. Offshore the haddock has been non stop (although the dog fish showed up about two weeks ago). It's no where nearly as good as the reports I read on this forum (which make me so miss my summers as a kid on Mystic Island), but it's a great sign for the fishery.
