Greenwood Lake Access/Launches 933 Signatures!

Update:

First and foremost, hope everyone and their families are healthy. We are now up to 933 signatures on our ONLINE PETITION for Public Boat Launch (es) on Greenwood Lake well on our way to 1000. Can we possibly make 1500?? Who knows?

We were asked a question as to whether or not tri-state anglers could sign the petition. Why not??? If you can drive to Greenwood to utilize the fishery you can sign...doesn't matter where you are from.

Remember if each person can find 10 signatures the list will grow exponentially.

Also of critical importance: BASS CLUBS.......bass season opens June 15 so we are hoping once anglers begin again launching from various launch sites on various lakes for tournaments, the word can get around and even more signatures will come in.

This is why we are making the deadline for our PAPER PETITION June 30. I have sent out a copy of the letter and paper petition to those requesting it here on this site. Just provide an address/email and it will get right out to you.

Just curious....what is the ultimate goal? I know the more the merrier but how many signatures do you think will actually make a difference in the ultimate outcome?? Any idea at all?? Or is it like any other petition, where ya dont know until were at the end??

There is no ultimate goal....obviously the more signatures we get the more we can present to the targeted parties......a LARGE number would obviously show strong support and could lead to change especially when this is shown to the Bi-State Greenwood Lake Commission. Originally 1000 was a nice number but now that we are already there.....we are pushing for more....
