Don't know if this post will fly but I belive some capts should get a that a boy.
Chad Hacker on the Tagged fish. If you don't catch fish on that boat their isn't any. No shorts allowed and every fish is measured. Community boxed with a share catch equally divided. John Cole on the Golden Touch - if he can't find them no-one can. He must have a thousand numbers on his recorders. Richie the mate is his mate and joined at the hip. Capt Ron on the party boat Fishermen out of Atlantic Highlands. Great boat Great mates and SENIOR and Veteran friendly. He always gives you 100 plus percent.... His Dad isn't a bad FISHERMAN either...... Capt Joe on the PAPAS ANGEL Keyport. Knows the bay like the back of his hand. I am sure their are many more that I havent met but these are the top of the class sooooooo far.

I couldn’t agree more, all the charter boats that fish just about every day and sometimes twice I tip my hat to them.

Can not speak for the other boats but I can for the Tagged Fish. Been fishing with Capt. Chad since he started his own business. First class operation all the way around. Always gives you his best effort. Saw some mates come and go but Big Mike is tops.

Lots of good boats and some not so good. I stick to a couple but also like to mix in a new boat or two a year and give others a shot. That's how you find good captains and mates and you are never too old or skilled to learn something new.
