Had some nice days jigging panfish and smallmouth bass in NJ and got one decent pike early on. Awesome trip, up to lake george, to experience jigging lake trout through the ice successfully for the first time, since waiting for rvr to freeze well enough is painful (almost had it this year though).

Took our last ice trip (i'm sure you can squeeze in another weekend maybe, but I'm pretty much done...been on ice since Dec. 10, long season for jersey). We went after salmon but pretty much had a pickerel fest. Squatch had a nice big slimer (i think he wanted to keep it as a pet) and a quite large gill and some nice perch. We did manage a few salmon though, mine came right as the sun was setting, so pretty fitting :'( ready to start casting again.

we fished saturday at lh and had a blast in the early morning with the crappies.
had great fishing from 6am til 10am.i think you are right about the"end is near"
for this season.have to get the spring open water stuff ready.

NJ Ice held on for dear life as long as it could. You definitely took advantage of everything available! Nice season!

Chris it was a good season for some new species through the ice. Remember to search the internet for that special product to help with the jigging. It just might work !
