Even though he may be gone in person now I am sure he will not be forgotten. In time those fishing memories that bring a tear to your eyes now thinking about the loss of your friend will bring smiles and great stories being told by you of your past trips and true friendship. Stay strong my friend.

R. I. P. Topeka Boy. Met him at an NJF holiday party as well! Cool dude for sure. We were on a trip together and I got to chat with him about fishing, of course. Very sorry for your loss Doug! NJF will miss him for sure! My condolences to the family and friends!!!

I'm sure that after the tears and sadness over his departing, fond memories of past fishing trips and friendship over the years will keep his memory with you. Condolences to you and his family, prayers sent...

Sorry to hear this. I may have met him at an NJF party. He raised a family all the way to grandchildren, no easy task. Best we can do is live life with no regrets and if he was a close fishing partner to you I doubt he had many regrets. RIP The Topeka Boy.

Bill's enthusiasm was contagious. Fishing with him was like fishing with a youngster at heart. You will be missed Bill. Heartfelt condolences to Eileen and family . . . .
