Sunburn, Hybrids and Pike!!! 7/8/18

Got out with Mikey yesterday to do some Hybrid fishing! We got a good fish right off the bat! This fish was healthy, fat and had the board down for a while. Fish was all of 7 lbs but unfortunately I didn’t get a picture. It was early and we were just getting started so I figured I would take a pic of the next one. Haha, well we got some good fish throughout the course of the day but never got another one as big as the first. Wound up landing 8-10 Brids on a slow pick kind of day. Couldn’t beat the weather yesterday. Hopefully you NJF’ers were out there enjoying the low humidity.

Did a solo Pike mission early this morning. Fish are right where I left em and moving around pretty good. I’m just not finding the monsters I have in the past. It’s all good though, landed another 3 toothy critters today with the biggest going 32 inches. They’re rippin’ drag fellas, go get em!!! What a weekend of great weather and great fishing! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
