RIP Lefty Kreh
The gentleman who came up with the non-slip loop knot has gone on to the great fisheries in the sky. He made his mark in the angling world! Rest easy.

Re: RIP Lefty Kreh
We should all be so fortunate and active..a quote:
If he slowed with age, few noticed. Several years ago, Mr. Kreh told Evans that he’d just attended his last high school reunion. The reason? “Too awkward,” Mr. Kreh said. “Everyone talked about life in the rest home or playing shuffleboard. When they asked what I was doing, I said, ‘I just got back from fishing in the Amazon.’ ” RIP Mr. Kreh |

Re: RIP Lefty Kreh
I'm so sorry to hear of Lefty's passing. He has been one of my hero's of fishing. I learned to cast a fly rod with Lefty's coaching. I will never forget his voice saying "keep your elbow on the shelf, Art " , as he told me. It has been said that Lefty could cast a telephone pole.
Lefty's abilities to tie fly's and cast a rod were only excelled by his humor, and ability to tell great jokes. You will be sorely missed, Lefty. I'm sure you are teaching casting and telling jokes in Heaven.........Papa |
