![]() Well it was nice to be out fishing. However, in a spot that usually produces 10-15 bass only gave up a couple today. I hit the water around 9:30 and finished at 3. Hit two spots which were a swamp and a small clear lake. Was targeting largemouth and pickeral. I fished keitechs with a regular worm hook, spinner baits, rat l trap, jigs, and a zman stick worm. I caught four bass with the biggest being two pounds and my father caught one about 2.5 pounds (he only fished for an hour with me). Anyways, i left a little dissapointed because the bite was slow. Does anyone know why i didn't see many fish or even bait? Usually fish are aggressive in this spot at this time of the year. Could it be the hot temps during the day and cold temps at night causing confusion? Most fish were caught on the worm. No love from the jig! Not cool enough i guess.

![]() Ya still hooked a few despite crappy conditions! The fish are a little out of sorts with the up and down temps. Add a full moon on top of that, fishing can get tough! Nice fish regardless!!!
