Default Sandy Hook Bay Bassin

Spent a few evenings this week hitting the bait readings for bass. Haven't gotten many keepers but plenty of fun with the small bass and the blues on topwater plugs. Only going to get better as the bait filters out the rivers. Dusk and dawn are your best bets!!!

From Officers Row to Earl. Peanuts all over the place some on the surface some on the bottom. Have to look for yourself to find them. We fished 5 inch bunker colored poppers. Light tackle is key and a lot of fun!!!

Lots of fun catching those schoolies on top water plugs. Might have to give it a shot after work this week.
