Default Hot yellowfin bite in Hudson with Marlin

Great trip to Hudson yesterday with great crew! Tony, Paulie, and Cody. Calm ride out left inlet at 3:30. Got to grounds not a lot of life and fog. Marked bait so decided to pound the area. Soon as fog lifted we were on . Unfortunately came across one of our braided lines and was cut off. Continuing to stay put with no other real good reports from other buddy boats. Well when fog lifted we were on again. Landed first at #70. Bit off again with fog. Lifts again doubled up.
We came tight later with beautiful Marlin with was safely released then doubled up again with yellowfin up to 80. Great trip with great friends. Flat seas coming in only two hours to inlet.

Great report. That Marlin had to be a rewarding experience for you all.

Glad you guys got out before all the nasty stuff predicted this coming week. With all the storms percolating down south it could be a few weeks before you get another shot.
