Default Feeding a heron a perch...

So I was fishing a small pond the other day and my buzzbait caught the interest of a GB Heron. It almost grabbed it a few times and decided what the heck, I'll get it some real food. I switched lures, caught a small yellow perch and well you can see what happens next...

For the next two hours after that, the heron was stalking me looking for a more fish.

I had one practically bumping into me on the KLG. Every time I hooked up the thing was right next to me.

Careful, heron have been known to be very clever with catching fish. It might pick up a rod and reel soon, then start lurking on this site.

.

Cool video. I gave you a 'thumbs up' on Youtube.

Heron are amazing. If you watch them for a while, you'll see they are generally very effective predators snapping fish, frogs, and anything else they can swallow.

I saw a heron fly past me one day while I was fishing and they caught my interest. Then I started watching videos of them eating on YouTube and now they scare me.
