Down Deep - 8/5 6 am Excellent Bottom Dweller fishing
Today aboard the Down Deep, Capt. Rob & Joe ran another 6 am open boat Mixed Bag Bottom dweller trip for a big crowd of great new and returning guys. Headed off in another direction and it paid off as everyone aboard proceeded to swing multiples over the rails all around the boat and got their fill of Jumbo Porgies along with other the stuff to round out the huge bags of fillets that matched everyone's smiles. Porgy fishing is red hot. Another great day. Back at it now and all week. Thanks everyone for sailing with us and all others who continue booking rough bottom Jumbo Ocean Fluke, Ling, Cod, winter Flounder & fall Jumbo Striped Bass, Tog & Seabass trips going forward at a rapid pace.
