Default Fluke party boat, Atlantic Highlands.. Worth it?

Was considering jumping on a party boat this coming Thursday out of the Highlands for some fluke fishing.. Is it even worth it? Looks like the fluking this year has been pretty bad. Also, which boat do you guys recommend? Not looking for a 1/2 day, would like to be out there till 2-3pm. Thanks.

It got better this weekend. Fisherman or Angler are the boats to be on from there.

Highlands boats have been fishing the ocean side so it cuts down on your fishing time but u fortunately that's where any decent catches have been made...your call

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work! What's the worst that can happen? Some fresh air, make some new friends, maybe a bad day or you take the pool ? Have had both experiences. Don't know till you try!

Thumbs up Re: Fluke party boat, Atlantic Highlands.. Worth it?

To answer your question: no it's not worth it on any boat

Better to save your bucks and hit the river

Depends on your definition of "worth it" in my opinion if I want 60 bucks worth of fish I'll go and buy 60 bucks worth of fish. I would rather spend the time on the water and support a local business regardless of bringing something home for dinner. And you never know what might happen but it won't happen on the couch
