FISHERMEN/Fridays Report.....So much for my plan!!
As I said yesterday, I had a plan for today and stuck to it. Unfortunately, the fish didn't get the memo! Had a short window of opportunity until conditions would go to Hell. We did catch some very nice keepers and a few shorts until the Wind against took away the drift. Fished a new area where there should have been at least short fish. We had perfect drifting conditions and didn't have a bite! Like the rest of the fleet, we went in search mode the rest of the day and covered many area's to only come up short! Two scotch night for sure. Back at it tomorrow to give it Hell once again... Thanks for checking in Capt. Ron

I appreciate your honest reports. I was out there today too from about 11am-6pm. The fishing downright sucked. Took a ride across the pond and got blown out with the strong S wind. Sea Robins, Dogfish, a short here and there and one 19" keeper. Came back closer to home and the crap fishing continued.
Very frustrating 2017 fishing season

Capt ron my heart goes out to you guys and the fleet,this is the worst i have seen in years. Gonna have a large fishing sale soon, dont think i will put my boat in next year if things don't change
