Default Keyport Seahawk - Blitzing Blues and Fluke hogging

late report from sunday sorry....

Had the weird drift all morning, changing directions, going the wrong way than expected, etc....at one point the wind was non-existent and we just sat next to a buoy, not even moving, yet a powerful current would rip our 2-3 oz jigs out from under the boat haha.

Anyway we moved around looking for better water, finding more crap drifts and extremely muddied up waters. Ran into a roaming school of bluefish, and had a little fun with them til another boat found them too and thought it was a good idea to blast directly into the blitz

Finally found better drifts (though not great) and put a few fluke over the side. Fishing was not good for quantity, but my first 4 fluke were keeper size so i guess i hogged all the flatties cause only one other keeper was caught by the three of us hahaha

Custom 'lemon-lime' bucktails and gulp teasers with squid did the damage.

Quality over quantity yet again...turning into the moto for the season.
