Down Deep Bull - Father's Day Fluke over 10 lbs.
Father's Day aboard the Down Deep Bull we scraped the plan to Seabass the last day of the spring season due to conditions. So with another big crowd of great new and returning guys and Dad's we ran another 6 am Jumbo Fluke trip. Made our way to pound some little pimples, pieces & piles. The crew aboard started catching shorts along with some beautiful keeper Fluke mixed in that kept the rods bending. Eric Osbun was aboard, his first time and his first Fluke trip ever. Naturally his rod doubled over with enormous head shakes and we all knew what was coming up. Gene guided the net under his 10.1 lb. Jumbo Fluke, great fish Eric. Congrats and high fives all around from all aboard as his Fluke bested the 9 lber that was in the lead for our annual free custom rod giveaway for the heaviest Fluke in the 2017 season aboard both boats. Come out and let us put you over your PB on our true drift Downeasters that Jumbo Fluke can't resist. It only gets better everyday from here, book now.
