Yesterday afternoon, we fished a bit further to the north than we had been fishing. Unfortunately, the bottom had been hit pretty hard throughout the week. We only managed a handful of keeper sea bass and 3 keeper fluke.

This morning, we fished to the north again where there was plenty of life but they never got going. We had a couple good shots of them early and it just got less and less as the day went on. There were fish breaking all over the surface and there were nice readings but they just didn’t want to chew today. We did, however, catch 5 short stripers which we released.
