Seabassin today was basically as good as it gets for Ricky's charter. Big swell and rolly conditions took its toll on some of the crew but the boys went to work and boxed a crew limit by 9 and a full boat limit by 930. Lots of nicer fish today, fewer throwbacks, and lots of those 14-16" keepers with the big ones being around 3#.
Steve and I jigged all morning and Easily bagged our limits quickly. At times the sandeels were so thick they were up on top swirling around.
Finished off trying to find a bass but had no luck so we headed for the barn early.
Oh, and It's a damn shame seabass closes tomorrow.
