Default Millstone/Raritan report

Launched on the Millstone today and cruised down to the Raritan throwing gold spinners to laydowns on the way testing a new 7' ultra light with 4lb line. Picked at smallies and sunnies (which hit like piranha, a blast on the new rod) on the way down the Stone. Headed up the R above the ladder to the RR bridges and hooked up with a feisty smallie on the new rod, tons of fun! Trolled back down to the ladder and up the Stone finishing the day with a small bow on a keitech.

Sick smallie, and that trout had an appetite!

I pulled through with a dink today at the Queen's bridge with zip nothing at the ladder. Low water...

But look out for the rain this week

Thumbs up Re: Millstone/Raritan report

Don't pass up on that stretch too fast on the Muddystone, there are fish all through there. One launch you can cover quite a bit of both rivers. Some really deep holes through there, always interesting. Nice fish btw.
