Default Large at dusk small at dawn

Hit a local pond the other day at sunset to see if bass were bedding yet, nothing visible but got one to take a chartreuse spinnerbait burned across the surface (excuse the blurry photo). With all the shad in the river I hit the ladder at sunrise and picked up a few smallies on a swim shad. One chubby little guy hammered a storm shad, fought like one twice his size, and went aerial four times on the way in.

Thumbs up Re: Large at dusk small at dawn

Nice bass !! If you get a good grassy area this type of photo always works for me. Can always get a good idea how big the fish is plus much easier than the fish flipping around in the air.

Some good fishin in that area! Nice BRONZEBACK dude! All the other species in the river are down by the tide line waiting patiently to be eaten by Stripers, Walleye, Pike and Sturgeon!!! Haha! Now all we need is more water in the river!
