Prowler5 - Fri., Dec. 23rd, Good Togging
Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. Me and Marko had the boat out again today. Only the Prowler and Atlantic Star sailed out of Atlantic Highlands Harbor today. Couldn't beat the weather today. Nice west wind, flat ocean all day. We had some great Prowler regulars on board today. Bucktail Bob landed some beauties today on the jig again. And, Jake the Snake went home with three nice keepers. High hook was Richard with six keepers and he also released three other keepers. He fished the port bow again today. Couple of guys with five keepers, guys with four and three and some with one and two. I believe everybody on the boat went home with blackfish. We fished from 55 to 70 feet, which is great for this time of the year. We haven't had to go off shore into the deep at all. The whities definitely worked better today than the greenies. Although greenies have been working well also. Awesome day to be out on the water today. Me, Marko and Zavier will see you tomorrow morning 5:30 a.m. for coffee. If it's raining, bring a raincoat because we're going. And, don't forget about Christmas Day. It's going to be a beautiful day. We have regulars coming down. Heated handrails, heated cabin, green crabs available and white leggers available for a fee. Here are pics from today. Thx., Capt. Scott

I fished this boat today. First time in a long time. Let me tell you they run a first class boat. Marko is outstanding in everything he does and Cap put us on the meat. I ended up with 5 keepers and 8 shorts. (2nd picture) Whites were better than greens for me. Thanks guys good time. Rich

Also, Carlos and a couple of the other guys were asking us if we are going to be fishing New Year's Day and the answer is yes.... 7:30 to 3:00 p.m. We are also going to be fishing the months of January and February. If they implement the new fluke laws for 2017, it looks like I'll be bottom fishing year round. But, I'm not even going to get into that topic until the season is officially over. Thx., Capt. Scott
