![]() Rough trip across the bay today with the strong west wind. Nothing the 31 contender couldn't eat up though. Ocean wasn't too bad in the morning but then kicked up. Fished a bit south of the highlands bridge and although it wasn't lights out fishing, 15 keepers for 5 guys and a ton of shorts. Also a summer flounder caught and released on a crab haha. Jigs out fished the rigs for keepers. Green crabs and white leggers were about even.

![]() 45 ft. Similar to rig fishing with letting it sit on the bottom. Not like Bucktails for fluke. I'm not an expert but from this trips lesson, small nibbles then set the hook. Guys say on the good biting days, you can see/feel them swim with the jig. Can't use them with strong current. Definitely a cool way of tog fishing. Gotta just get the feel for it. Good luck guys.
