![]() The Jersey Nutz ran 5 trips this past week from 11/2 to 11/6 and it was a story of ups and downs. Visit our FB page https://www.facebook.com/JerseyNutzCharters/ for pictures, can't get them to upload here today for some reason.
Wednesday and Thursday we had a stiff SW wind that really made it hard to put bass in the boat, so we put a hurtin on the bluefish and bent some rods. Thankfully on Friday for the Chris Mooney charter, the wind switched to NW and we were blessed with bait on top and a solid liveline bite. Boated some bass and then went to the bluefish to finish the trip. Saturday it was back to a dead sea for the Mike Kindig charter and a long frustrating day. We covered a TON of ground and only scratched out one bass before we went and had a blast beating up blues with 2 and 3 on at a time. SUNDAY WAS THE DAY WE WORKED FOR! We broke the inlet and jogged a little south and we were greeted with bent rods for the next 4 hours. Limited out by 730am and played catch and release until the charter had enough around 11am. These are the days you fish for, just an unreal liveline bite.
