Great write up Ken! Sounds like a great adventure with some nice BUCKETMOUTH's caught! Watch out for those yellow jackets! Haha!

great post ken, just be glad you did not run into those whitefaced honets hidding in a bush by where you were fishing.glad to hear you did not get stungnice largemouths you got there, that second spot looks like a place i would throw a gobblin or the ghost the bodys are soft like a mouse or a scum frog. you have to have tough line to pull them through all those weeds.

Glad to see success with the mice! I got a couple a month or so ago, yet to have any luck with them though

I fished that lake about 3 1/2 weeks ago one evening as its only about 10 minutes from home. I was fishing off that log projecting straight out into the pads in your video. Hooked a nice bass beyond the pads but then it got hung up in them. Only had 6 lb test so no way I force the issue. I had no waders that day so I took off my sneakers, socks, and basically worked my along the top of that log sliding my butt ever so slowly with my bare feet in the water. Took awhile but I saved my lure and probably that basses life as well. Nice lake but summer weeds are atrocious.
